About The Center for Jewish Ethics
The Center for Jewish Ethics is where study and action meet. We draw on Jewish texts, experience and tradition to help people and communities address the ethical challenges of contemporary life.
Established in 1994, the Levin-Lieber Family Program in Jewish Ethics:
- Trains future rabbis to serve as ethical guides
- Seeds cutting-edge research on gender, race and Jewish ethics
- Develops study guides and online learning resources
- Supports Jewish organizations in strengthening ethics policies and procedures
- Convenes scholars of Jewish ethics and communal leaders for study and action
- Provides consultations for Reconstructionist rabbis and congregations
